Double satin ribbon has a satin finish on both sides of the ribbon this results in the ribbon having a smooth slightly shinny appearance on both faces. As a result either side of the ribbon can be used. Whilst single satin as the name might suggested one has one smooth shinny side whilst the reverse remains slightly textured and dull. The nett result is that double satin can create a professional and high end look than the single sided satin, although both have there uses.

The ribbon is made from high-quality 100% recycled polyester, this polyester comes from recycled 2ltr plastic drinks bottles, which are shredded, melted and extruded into new polyester fine thread. These are then plied together and woven to make new fabric products and ribbons. Even the plastic reels which this satin ribbon comes on are made from 100% recycled post consumer plastic.
