About the Meadow Green Shade
Meadow Green in the Berisfords Double Satin Ribbon range is a fresh looking, natural shade it takes it's inspiration from the vibrant greens of spring meadows ( as the name suggests). The colour sits within the lighter range of greens, it takes us away from the traditional popular shades of dark festive shades and the wedding and baby mints. Traditionally this is not a pallet that has offered many hues to choose from as far as ribbons are concerned, however this beautiful shade of meadow fills the void very nicely.
Combining soft yellow undertones with a bright, clean hue it creates a lively yet elegant shade. The luxurious double-faced satin weave goes further as it helps enhance the colours depth by creating a slight lustre and reflectiveness, which means that it has a slight sparkle to its appearance when the light plays on it from certain angels. Since both sides of this shade are finished in the same way (Double Satin) it means that it works beautifully when bowed and tied with both sides playing in the light.
