Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online or by phone, e mail or fax with Simply Ribbons ( a trading style of H.C Habby Ltd). Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.
By using this site you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods. Online transaction via secure server or by phone by calling us on 01691 780416. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorized by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch, American Express, Maestro and Solo *. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorize payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.
The web price includes VAT at 20% *. To calculate the tax free value of the goods divide the price shown by 1.20.
1.Delivery Policy We will send all goods out via one of the following means: Tracked Royal Mail Post, Royal Mail Special Delivery, DPD and in the case of International Deliveries Royal Mail Airsure. Tracking details are available on request for items sent via DPD and Royal Mail Tracked, whilst proof of postage is retained and available for all items sent out via Royal Mail Tracked Service.
1.1 lead times - unless your item has been purchased on a Next Day service we would ask you to allow up to seven clear working days ( these do not include Saturday or Sunday) for delivery. This is measured from the time that you received an order processing e mail from ourselves. if you need your order in a quicker time frame then we ask you to purchase your goods using the Next Day Service option or to call us first to discuss your requirements on 01691 780416. Please note that once goods have been dispatched from our warehouse, we have no control over the delivery time as this is soley governed by our service partners.
1.2 incorrect Delivery Address - in the event that a customer completes there order with us and supplies an old or incomplete delivery address then we reserve the right to charge a re-delivery charge for having to send out the item again. This charge will be no more then our standard published postal charges. Any additional charge being made will be communicated with the customer first.
1.3 Free Postage - When offered, this is calculated by the checkout and is based on the value of the goods purchased. Currently if the goods exceed £100 then free postage may be applied. Please note that if the order qualifies for any other discount or a promotional voucher is being used then the Free Postage option will not be applied.
Returns and exchanges
1. Returned Goods - Goods can be returned to us for any reason, however we ask that items are returned to us in the condition that they were received and within 14 days of arriving with the customer. Unless goods are being returned because they were faulty or damaged ( see separate section below) we will refund the cost of the goods in full together with the outgoing postage at the basic rate. So if a next day service postage was paid we will only refund the cost of first class postage, not the full next day rate. Please note that the customer is responsible for the return postage cost. We recommend that any goods being returned are done so via Royal Mail and that the customer obtains a proof of postage from the post office for there own records and protection.
1.1 Refunds - No refunds will be made until the goods being returned to us have been received, refunds will then be made via the original method of payment and within 14 days of the goods being accepted back at Simply Ribbons / H.C Habby Ltd.
1.2 Damaged / Faulty Goods - We ask that any damaged goods are notified to us at your earliest convenience, we will arrange to have the item returned to us and replaced as a matter of urgency at our expense. We would ask that in the first instance you contact us by phone on 01691 780416 or via e mail at email@example.com.
1.3 Consequential Loss - No claims or consequential loss will be entertained.
2. Cancelled Special Orders Or Cut Ribbons - Where a customer has requested that we supply a specific item that is not a general stock item for us ( this is defined as an item that does not appear on our web site) or that we supply there chosen ribbon pre cut in to lengths specified by them, then we reserve the right to charge up to 100% of the value of the goods if the order is cancelled after we have received order confirmation from the customer. Cut length orders are excluded from all promotional offers.
Where a customer orders a volume in excess of our standard stock holding and as a result we have had to order in extra stock for them ( the customer will have been notified if this is the case and will have given there consent for us to do this) and the order is subsequently cancelled after an official purchase order has been received . Then we reserve the right to charge a restocking charge of up to 25% of the value of the goods.
Products, prices and content
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the pictures and colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.
All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) * and are inclusive of UK VAT * at the current rate unless clearly stated.
Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions.
Any information displayed on our web site(s) or other printed matter by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our web site is updated regularly.
We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.
Promotional Discount codes
From time to time we will offer promotional discount codes to customers via e mail and Social Media. These codes are only valid during the stated offer period and can not be used in-conjunction with any other discount level or code.
These discount codes are only valid for orders placed online and can not be used for orders placed via Telephone.
It is up to the customer to decide which discount code to use to gain the best discount off there order if more then one code / discount is available to them.
Ownership of goods
All items supplied to the customer remain the property of H.C Habby Ltd until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.
