Woven from 100% recycled polyester and manufactured in the UK, this ribbon delivers a consistent high quality, durability, and colour clarity. About the Marigold Shade
As mentioned above Berisfords Marigold Double Satin Ribbon is a rich, warm shade inspired by the warm yellow tones of the marigold flower. The colour sits between golden yellow and soft orange, as a result it creates a vibrant hue which is not overpowering and has a touch of class about it, this it highlighted we feel by the slight amber undertones in the colour. The double-faced satin weave that Berisfords use on this ribbon further enhances the colour, allowing light to be slightly reflected by the lustre of the fabric as a result the colour has a slight sheen to it which lifts the over all effect and prevents the colour looking flat.
Marigold works beautifully with earthy shades such as olive, moss and chocolate brown, but also pairs well with deep navy, burgundy and plum, with which it creates striking contrast. Due to its warm look and depth of colour It tends to work well with autumn palettes which some people find surprising especially as we see this shade used a lot in spring and summer designs.
