About the Bridal White Shade
This is a soft, variation of pure white, traditionally associated with weddings and elegance. Unlike optic white, bridal white has a subtle warm undertone, often with a hint of ivory or cream in its hue. This warmth comes from a slight infusion of yellow or beige in its make up, which has the effect of flattering the appearance under natural and artificial light. Bridal white complements colours such as blush pink, champagne, sage green, silver, and soft gold, this is one of the reasons that these shades are often used together in wedding venues decorative work. Can I use this for Wedding Car Decoration?
Yes this ribbon lends itself for this use nicely as the ribbon has a very soft handle to it meaning that it will not damage the paint work of the care if attached properly and with care. Many people now use a hoist of different colours to decorate their cars with and any colours in the Berisfords Satin Range will work well for this purpose. However this still remains the most popular shade for this use.
Why Does This Ribbon Seem More Expensive Then Other Satins I Have Seen?
This is due to a number of reasons, firstly it is made to a very high quality standard from recycled polyester yarn here in the UK. The ribbon also has a good weight of yarn in it meaning that it is not very thin like some cheap satin on the market. it also benefits from a woven edge rather than a cut edge. Again something that uses more yarn and production time, but prevents any fraying from the edge of the ribbon and adds to the ribbons soft handle. This makes it ideal for a wider number of uses including garment making.
