It has a deep, honeyed glow that feels luxurious without being brash, and the satin finish amplifies as this gives a beautiful soft sheen which adds to the overall elegant look. Due to its richness this colour works brilliantly with autumnal palettes – like rust, terracotta, burnt orange, chocolate and copper – as well as jewel tones such as emerald, bottle green, navy and burgundy. Yes very, this ribbon is made from 100% recycled polyester thread, this thread started life as plastic 2ltr drinks bottles before being recycled into yarn for weaving. Even the reels are made from 100% post consumer plastic, most of which comes from the white plastic of fridges and freezers.
